My Pursuer is +2 right now. It does 256 damage with A/C scaling. That gives it +129 bonus damage. Each upgrade gives it ~50 damage and improves scaling. My +2 Drangleic Sword does 229 damage with C/B scaling for comparison. So far, the horizontal sweep has been all I need for PvP.
